Covid-19 Company Statement

Once again, in these very difficult times, we hope you are all well.

 

At Beer Trading, we are a family and this family extends to all our customers as well. With this in mind, we wanted to give you an update as to what we are working on to support you in the best way possible in these extraordinary times.

 

Given the government announcement last week to close all pubs with immediate effect, we understand you will have concerns regarding stock currently on site and returning it to us.  We are working at pace, every day with all major brewers and brands to establish a consistent, collaborative approach to returns and what this will mean for you and your business.  Please bear with us whilst we do this, there are many issues to consider currently and we realise this is important to you. We will aim to communicate to you again as soon as we can with more clarity.

 

We are hoping that a positive response prevails from all our brewer and brand partners but please understand that this is an international and unprecedented situation. We must all stick together and by doing this, we will find the best way of coming out the other side.

 

In preparation for any uplifts can I please ask that you confirm back via your Beer Trading representative your current un-opened KEG and CASK stock levels with their individual "Best Before End Dates”

At the Beer Trading Company, the safety and well-being of our employees and all of our customers, is always our top priority. We recognise the important role we play in providing a continued and excellent service to our “on-trade” customers.

 

We are actively monitoring the COVID 19 situation and are taking the necessary steps to help keep our team and customers alike, safe.

 

As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus based on the government guidelines. Your local representative can still be contacted on the usual telephone number and email address and will be happy to assist as normal with any requests you require.

 

The telesales office team are still available for you to place daily orders and to assist you with any other general enquiries.

 

Placing orders will continue as normal, at present, with deliveries being offered Monday through to Saturday. Same day orders need to be placed before 11am for guaranteed delivery.

 

We will keep you informed with regular updates if any national decisions are made to restrict the supply to our customers, but for the time being we will continue to support our customers with the high level of service we at the Beer Trading Company pride ourselves on.  We know how important it is to stick together during these uncertain and difficult times.
